I am a fan of tucked away hidden corner restaurants fronts. Family run by a lovely couple. I have been coming to Soban periodically throughout the years. It's always the same comfort with great food. Never disappoints with flavor the wait is worth it for authentic taste!
Tried many things on the menu and everything was delicious. The owners are friendly, lovely people who clearly take pride in their work! Also always love restaurants that leave carafes of water for you to refill. Cute small place that shows off the owners stamp collection.

I’ve loved this place since high school. It was my go-to whenever I frequented downtown or anywhere around Chinatown. The owner is always super sweet and the food is delicious!! With that said, I’ve never had to wait in line here (bonus points!)
